Financial planning is a partnership built on trust and integrity. As an independent financial planner, Brent Elliott works with individuals, families, and business owners to help them understand the importance of developing a strategic, long-term financial plan for achieving their goals and objectives. His honest and open approach is a reflection of his genuine concern for his clients.
Brent works to make sure clients understand their current financial situation and define their future goals. Whether it is insurance planning, wealth accumulation and preservation, retirement, or leaving a legacy, Brent believes every person, family, and situation is unique and requires customized and highly personalized solutions. He feels that his greatest strength is caring about people and helping them in reaching a comfortable financial future.
Brent believes that "relationships are everything." This doesn't just mean a strong relationship with clients; it means establishing relationships with a team of professionals, accountants, attorneys, etc. to make sure that all aspects of a client's financial life are working together to help meet the client's goals.
As an independent financial professional, he can provide advice without the conflicts and pressures associated with proprietary products. He draws from a broad array of resources, services, and offerings, including the expertise of other financial professionals to benefit clients.
Besides over twenty-two years of experience in the financial services industry, Brent holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from North Carolina State University. Brent is active in his community and currently serves as a board member with the Boys and Girls Club of Eastern Piedmont.
Brent attributes a large part of his success to the support of his wife, Beth, and their two children, Elyssa and Matthew, and his partner Tim Mellon. "Without the infrastructure and strength provided by God, my family, and my friends, Green Valley Financial would still be a dream."
